They are living in a universe where Robots can be built with very high intelligence, and codes, enough that Ess can see Zed as a kind and caring Papa. While the first two aren't exactly true- more just exaggerations to make the drawing cooler, the last one is the one I really want people to focus on, as it's something I truly believe Ex has a problem with.
